What to watch in the Asia session

The Asian session (Sydney · Australia · Tokyo · China · Singapore) · updated 2026-09-14 21:30 UTC.

Asia Session Prep — 21:00–08:00 UTC

The day that just ended kept the same plot: the 10-year Treasury yield topped 5% for the first time since 2007, oil ran to $109 before settling near $98, and chip names slid as tech leaders called for an AI slowdown — with the Senate's Clarity Act vote still parked for tomorrow.

This window is mostly China's turn: New Home Prices, Industrial Production, Retail Sales, Fixed Asset Investment and the Unemployment Rate all land, plus the NBS press conference. Japan adds Tertiary Industry Activity, and the UK brings the one genuinely high-tier print — Claimant Count Change — alongside Average Earnings. Then French Final CPI and German WPI round out the European side.

On the gauge, EUR/USD stays bearish clear: H4 RSI 28.4, price 0.4 ATR above 1.15446 support with 3.2 ATR of room to 1.15833, low in its range. Gold is bearish clear across D1/H4, balanced between 4,277.45 and 4,332.77. Oil is bullish clear but flagged extended — respect that. GBP/USD is coiled between 1.34793 and 1.34986, Bitcoin between 78,685.6 and 79,467.4. Let the levels do the talking.
