London Session Prep — 08:00–12:00 UTC
The "everything costs more" story rolls on: the global bond sell-off reignited as oil jumped to $109, the ECB hiked with hawkish guidance, and Treasury yields surged again — equities stayed on the back foot, and gold is still bearish clear on D1/H4, squeezed between 4,308.42 and 4,327.38.
London's calendar is a quiet one — Chinese M2 Money Supply y/y and New Loans, both low-tier. Thin data, but after an ECB hike and an oil spike, quiet doesn't mean calm.
The gauge has shifted since Asia. EUR/USD is bearish strong — D1 mixed, H4 and H1 both down, RSI 22.4 on H1 (oversold) — with similar room above (3.7 ATR to 1.15820) and below (2.3 ATR to 1.15324); note the divergence warning. GBP/USD leans bearish, D1 up but H4 down and H1 mixed, boxed tight between 1.34846 and 1.34945. USD/JPY is the odd one: D1 and H4 down, but H1 up and RSI 63.6 — sitting right on 154.35417 support with 22.8 ATR of blue sky overhead. Oil remains bullish clear on D1/H4/H1, H4 RSI 66.0, extended, resistance 100.76. Bitcoin is neutral and squeezed between 77,372.4 and 77,819.7. Ethereum leans bullish, D1 and H1 up, between 2,507.6 and 2,528.4. Let the levels do the talking.
